Dr. Nicholas A. Diaz, a graduate of Lafayette College, also attended Monsignor Farrell Highschool just a few blocks from his office. After years of honing his skills in the dental field outside of Staten Island, he is bringing his expertise and patient care back to the community that shaped him. His passion for dentistry started at a young age. He was fascinated by his childhood dentist who was personable, kind, and helpful within the community. Dr. Diaz earned his Bachelor’s degree at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. During his summers, he worked for a youth nonprofit organization in New York City. He continued his education and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA. Throughout his experience in dental school, his passion for dentistry continued to grow especially as he served underprivileged communities while participating in the Virginia Mission of Mercy Projects and The Jamaica Project. One of Dr. Diaz’s greatest experiences was traveling to Jamaica and providing dental care to individuals who had no access to care. After graduation, Dr. Diaz completed a General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ where he worked alongside some of New Jersey’s top dental providers spanning all fields of dentistry. During his residency he became proficient in the areas of Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Crown and Bridge, working with medically compromised patients, and providing comprehensive care....
